FSCR Awarded $200,000 From California Department of Fish and Wildlife for Fisheries Habitat Restoration on Sisar Creek

It’s official! Our Sisar Creek design proposal to replace a complete fish passage barrier in the Santa Paula Basin has been approved! We’ll be designing for a free span bridge to replace the current low flow crossing and reopening some of the most productive steelhead habitat in all the Santa Clara River watershed. FSCR is completing the grant agreement paperwork for the award, with field work commencing in summer 2019. Friends will once again be partnering with Northwest Hydraulic Consultants. https://cdfgnews.wordpress.com/…/cdfw-awards-13-2-million-…/
