California Coastal Cleanup Day 2021

Friends of the Santa Clara River will be hosting several Coastal Cleanup Day events along the Santa Clara River Watershed. Coastal Cleanup Day will be held on September 18th, from 9am to 12pm. It is a statewide event, but we will be sharing the events that will be hosted or co-hosted by Friends of the Santa Clara River. You can read more about Coastal Cleanup Day and view statewide event sites here.

With the COVID-19 pandemic still ongoing, we are trying to limit contact with shared items. We will be bringing equipment for people to borrow during the event, but we do ask, if possible, to bring your own cleanup equipment.

In addition, we also recommend you fill out and bring your event waivers before arriving to any Coastal Cleanup Day event to reduce the amount of people at the tables at any given time.
