Friends of the Santa Clara River (FSCR) is hosting a volunteer event at the Hedrick Ranch Nature Area located near Santa Paula, California. Have fun planting native plants, working in the plant nursery, and clearing invasive plants. You will learn about our local Santa Clara River Watershed, including its ecology, wildlife, and the riparian restoration happening along the river. All ages welcome!
FSCR is the steward of the HRNA land for wildlife and riparian habitat. Volunteer days are essential to help to maintain this conserved area.
The event will take place in the event of light rain, but will be cancelled if heavier rain or mud is on the road. Please look for updates prior to the day. The event will hosted by Holly, our lead for restoration.
